About Me

My name is Elisabeth Bernhardt and I occupy myself on a large scale with questions about our inner being and actual origin as human beings, on an earthly level with the Beauty of the German Language in all its colours and facets, and in between with the values in living together with fellow men.

Already during my school years and during my studies, I enjoyed helping out in my parents’ businesses. Initially, in the tourism business, thus in the restaurant and guest area. With time and the growing experience from school and university, I was then also able to get more and more involved in the areas of activity of the office administration and of the publishing house. A clear goal in my life has always been important to me, and I soon realised that I do not only have to look for this goal in my earthly existence. Not only the material, the professional has an importance, but the inner being in me demands for an orientation towards a belief too.

The guiding star in all my endeavours is truth. The search for it, which is characterised by structure and harmony. The experiencing of the manifold forms resulting therefrom in and around me. It became a desire of my heart that accompanies and determines my whole life.

Truth is crystal clear. – Deep and immeasurably wide. – Connecting and leading upwards. – Manifested on earth in the Spirit of the German Language.

The more I delve into this truth, the more I am allowed to gain for my life on earth and my whole human existence. Thus, it also became a part of my professional activity to occupy myself with truth and, on top of that, to reproduce for English-speaking readers the explanations given to us in the German language, to convey the right meaning and to portray the images shown with the help of their treasure of words. Whereby this is not only a profession for me, but has become a life’s task and shapes my whole orientation.

Therefore, I also like to travel frequently to foreign countries and enjoy the exchange with the people there. In doing this, I have been particularly drawn to the African continent for many years now. My visits take me several times a year to Nigeria, in West Africa, where I have already been able to get to know a large number of people and numerous places in different Nigerian states. The inner feeling of connection that has developed with the country and its people brings a great deal of reciprocal joy that is uplifting.

My aspirations are what I am today, and in which I have to constantly form and orientate myself anew.
